11th CLASS @Santee Elementary

We are back in the cozy library and it is group learning time and we had a lot of funnnnn!!!

We are in a rhythm now. We have our students whom we teach 1:1 or 2:1 now. Some kids come late after their music class. It's fun to be back in the computer lab.

Kids are having fun, so good to see they enjoy learning!!
The tutors are trying to be friends. Ananya and Esha check the homework for 4th graders.

6th CLASS @Santee Elementary

We are making good progress, finished Module 1 and will be finishing Module 2 soon of both 4th-grade and 5th-grade Engage NY curriculums on Khan Academy.

Great to see "the Mom" aka Avni giving high 5s to her students!

5th CLASS @Santee Elementary

We have more pictures to share. The library is a warm and cozy place for us to spread out in groups and do 3:1, 2:1, or even 1:1 Math coaching.

This class we introduced BRAINBUCKS to keep the motivation up for the students. One can earn 30-40 BRAINBUCKS for every homework turned in and then more during the class as you answer questions.

4th CLASS @Santee Elementary

Our attendance records indicate at least 13 kids are regularly coming every Tuesday. We had one dropout, and hope he starts coming again.

FIRST DAY @Santee Elementary

Excited to start our Winter session @Santee Elementary in San Jose with five 4th graders join us the first day. Happy to see two boys among the group and Diego is here. The UBUNTU team rocks!

Tutors - Avni Aggrawal, Esha Bansiya, Ananya Maheswari, Simran Sadhwani, and Ananya Aggrawal spent the entire time in the computer lab getting to know the kids and also helping them finish their first test using Khan Academy.
